A) Site Access
Our webmaster (IASP.com.au) recently upgraded the system behind this website. Most teething challenges have hopefully now been rectified.

However, for the new system to identify each individual visitor, your own computer settings must be correct. So if you cannot login or access the newsletter or order items at any time, please check the following:
1. It is important the 'Date and Time' on your computer be relatively accurate (to minutes not hours). The system is designed to automatically create 'sessions' that allow visitors to perform certain actions within an IASP website. If a visitor’s local computer date and time are not relatively accurate, time out problems can occur. So if you’re living in Australia, make sure the timing of your Region is set to Australia (e.g. EST) and not Europe.
2. Secondly, all IASP websites (and virtually every interactive website on the web) use 'cookies' to identify individual visitors when they log into an IASP powered website.
Cookies can be set to expire after a period of time on local computers, but this will not affect the performance of the website, it is only if cookies are 'blocked' or 'disabled' that login problems will occur. To address this issue you must 'enable cookies' in your web browser.
The process to enable cookies varies from browser to browser, but for Internet Explorer 6 (which accounts for 65% of all computers) cookies are in Tools>Internet Options>Privacy. Once you get to the Privacy screen set the level back to 'Default' and this should rectify the problem.
3. IASP logs the IP address of each visitor accessing any IASP powered website. Many Internet Service Providers use different IP addresses for unsecured and secured connections. The IASP system is fully capable handling the change of a visitor’s IP address between unsecure and secure connections (such as when a visitor goes to the secure payment page of an IASP powered online shop).
However, there are some circumstances where local Internet Service Providers use 'clustered proxy servers' that constantly change visitors IP addresses and cause problems for their customers. To date we have only identified one South African member’s ISP who has his network configured this way, and in this case all their customers connected to the Internet would be unable to access many web-based services and functions such as Hotmail, eBAY and more. If this issue is causing you problems, IASP's respectful suggestion is to request an alternative service from your local ISP.
